Note: For purposes of the CleverCarry Community Guidelines “Transporters” refers to both Transporters and Transporter Hub Managers.
We want CleverCarry to be profitable and safe for everyone. These ground rules are designed to ensure that Customers and Transporters have a safe, smooth, and profitable transaction. Please take a moment to read them. Because whether you’re a Customer trying to get an item from A to B — or a Transporter wanting to earn money as an independent contractor — your behavior matters.
We expect Transporters to act in compliance with all relevant state, federal, and local laws at all times.
Respect each other
Treat your Customers and fellow Transporters as you would like to be treated yourself: with respect. It’s common courtesy not to shout, swear or make rude gestures. Most important of all, remember that as a Transporter you will meet people who may look different or think differently from you. Please respect those differences. We want everyone to feel welcome when they use CleverCarry. We all value our personal space and privacy. Please don’t comment on someone’s appearance or ask whether they are single. If you need to make a phone call, keep your voice down to avoid disturbing your Customer. And don’t touch or flirt with other people while on a contract. As a reminder, CleverCarry has a no sex rule. That’s no sexual conduct between Transporters and Customers, no matter what.
Everyone wants both Transporters and items to get from A to B safely. So please ensure that you follow the local law. Buckle up when you get into the car. Transporters have a particular responsibility when it comes to the safety of items at CleverCarry. That means keeping to the speed limit; not texting while driving; always using a phone mount; and never driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any alcohol or drug use while on a contract is a serious offense. If you’re driving and feel tired, take a break. As the experts say, “sleep is the only true preventative measure against the risks of drowsy driving.”
CleverCarry is only to be used for items. Transporters do not take on passengers. If local laws permit you may transport livestock or pets, but never transport a human during a contract regardless of whether it is for money or for free.
Only adults can use CleverCarry. Do not fulfill contracts involving minors. Do not take on a contract issued by a minor. Never interact with a minor while on a contract. Do not give or receive items from minors as part of a contract.
You are not permitted to transport contraband, including drugs, illegal weapons, dangerous substances (unless you have the appropriate licenses and your vehicle is equipped to code), and any illegal item. If you discover you are in possession of contraband after picking up the package pull over and contact your manager. You will not lose collateral for failing to deliver contraband. Follow all local laws concerning contraband.
If you are a witness to or the victim of a crime report it to the authorities immediately and contact your Manager. You will not lose collateral for having to stay at the scene of a crime in order to assist police.
If you become aware of another Transporter in distress attempt to help them. If they are being victimized immediately contact the police, even if you know that others intend to do so, have already done so, or are doing so at the present time. Transporters stick together.
CleverCarry has a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind. This means you will lose access to your account if you are found to have discriminated against Transporters or other Customers based on their race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age or any other characteristic protected under applicable law.
Actions that threaten the safety of Transporters and Customers will be investigated by law enforcement.
